Willing to work through an employment agency for at least the first year
Two to five years experience as a secretary for a General Contractor in commercial construction.
Excellent attendance; therefore dependability and reliability are mandatory
Live within 10 miles of our office
Must have own reliable transportation
Good communication skills and the ability to work well with superiors, clients, sub contractors and fellow employees.
Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and Contact databases.
Familiarity with ACT Database
Knowledge of construction procedures, construction terminology and how a construction business operates.
Must be a self-starter and motivated to learn new things.
Must have a pleasant voice with professional telephone skills.
Ability to handle stress and take constructive criticism in a positive manner.
Bookkeeping / Accounting experience
Good filing skills essential
Ability to prioritize and work at a rapid pace.
Good organizational skills with special attention to time lines and details.
Ability to compose professional letters using proper grammar,spelling and punctuation.
Experience working with blueprints.
Professional dress, with moderate attire.
